THE “CAROLINA EXPLORER“..... A Great Fisherman and Boat Captain with International experience, Captain Robert Schoonmaker is also a great person (and fine son!)  He operates a 24 foot Mako Guide Boat with a 200 HP Yamaha four stroke engine on the same waters as I do.  Enthusiastic and Vibrant are the words best to describe his love of fishing.  If I am not available, he is the next best Guide in the Carolinas, bar none.  We also do many multiple boat trips together and have a ball with our groups... we hollar at each other, praise each others successes, and give each other heck when something goes wrong (Lost fish, break offs, stupid stunts, etc.)  It is a lot of fun when the two of us tangle up on  a group trip.
